Plan:

The Frick Collection will soon leave their temporary home at the Breuer Building and I want to hang out in this brutalist masterwork a bit more before it becomes an auction house.

The Frick is full of big portraits of dead aristocrats, so my secondary mission is to look closely at hand positions, held objects, clothes, jewelry, and backgrounds in the paintings, to see what I can learn about old money gang signs in art.

It's pay what you want at the Frick from 4 to 6 on Thursdays, so that's the time to go.

If you want to join me, be at the Waldo Hutchins Bench at 3:30pm. Email if you have questions.
