Mining+agriculture+manufacturing+marketing. This is the backbone of the industrial system.
It took our species millions of years to evolve to this point, but in the past 250 years we've figured out how to exploit resources on a massive scale, building an interconnected system mining+agriculture+manufacturing+marketing that blankets the globe.
This system has transformed the beliefs and actions of our species in ways good and bad and many of these changes remain invisible to the majority of us.
At INK, we consider the industrial system and its products and byproducts to be part of our collective unconscious. It is part of the infrastructure of our lives and we are foolish to ignore its influence on us. At INK, we like to surface this stuff, because we believe Carl Jung when he says...
"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
